“I will declare your name to my brothers and sisters; in the assembly I will sing your praises.” – Hebrews 2:12

Robert Wyllie Mitchell is an ordained minister and musical artist based in Maryland. Since 2010, Robert has acted as the Minister of Music at Mount Joy Baptist Church in Oxhill, MD. His band plays Black Soul Gospel music that is uplifting and celebrates God. He is best known for his single “White Flag”.

He believes in preaching and teaching the word of God, just as importantly, he believes we must “live” the word.

The love of music, as well as a strong presence in the church helped shape Minister Robert Mitchell as a singer and as a person. While exploring his gift, he began to compose his own music. From this, his “White Flag EP (extended play) Album evolved. This project was released January 15, 2015.

Minister Robert Mitchell is focused on getting a message across and doing the work of God through preaching, teaching, as well as song.
