NAMI provides free education and support for program participants; promotes awareness and understanding of mental health conditions and mental illness related stigma; and advocates for greater access to quality mental health services, more employment opportunities, and affordable housing. NAMI Prince George’s County, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. As the local affiliate, we serve as the “County’s Voice on Mental Illness.”We will be providing information about our programs (support groups, education classes, and presentation). We will have flyers and informational handouts. We will also have give aways.
