Corrona Boston, LPC, ATR, is a native of the urban communities of Baltimore City; with 20 years of extensive clinical experience in various modalities including art therapy, traditional theoretical approaches and  evidenced-based practices. Fortifying her with skill sets to train, oversee and lead several teams in the implementation of various treatment models including Trauma Systems Therapy, Mental Health Rehabilitation Services, and MultiSystemic Therapy. While having the opportunity to serve on the Juvenile Behavioral Diversion Program, DC Youth Link and Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services committee to provide clinical consultation. Throughout her career, she received the opportunity to work for several mental health agencies in the surrounding DMV area such as Johns Hopkins Hospital, school-based settings and mental health organizations servicing at-risk populations. 

Additionally, her passion for the arts, community and philanthropy served as a catalyst for exploring entrepreneurship; becoming the founder of ArtVersity; birthed from the belief each person has a God-given gift that enables them to produce something great. This project cultivated the integration of art and wellness within the DC communities. Her style promotes empowerment and personal insight into oneself through artistic expression. With this specialty, this opened the door for her to continue flourishing and transitioning into the curation of literacy work. As a result of providing trauma-informed care to children and adults. Her recent co-publication, Your Secret Is Not Safe With Me, serves as an educational tool to promote body safety for young children. Her goal is to use the book as a viable resource to educate, support and empower children to keep them safe. 

In an effort to bring awareness to mental health and dismantle stigmas, Corrona continues to bring her expertise to various platforms. And had the honor to serve as a guest speaker and panelist to address Mental Health, Art Therapy and Healthy Relationships, at welcoming institutions such as  Bowie State University, Howard University, and Coppin State University.
