Speaker: Raycenia Mmoyer

Raycenia is a leadership development educator, trainer, and consultant. She is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the New Beginnings (NewB®) Leadership Business and Individual Development Center, and Senior advisor of McKinley Leadership Advisors LLC, located in Bowie MD.

Founded in 1998, the NewB® Leadership Center, is a Judeo-Christian non-profit leadership education organization. It exists to equip leaders to have greater influence to transform lives and nations through biblically based Holy Spirit-led leadership education, training, and development. The NewB® Leadership Center has impacted thousands of leaders: youth, young adults, and adults across the nation.

What makes NewB® Leadership Center unique, is its leadership training not only focuses on the skills of a leader, but on the leader as a whole person and who God has called that leader to be. As such, equipping opportunities also focus on healing of the leader’s heart (spirit) and soul (mind, will, and emotions) from life choices, past hurts, and traumatic events which often affects a person’s mental health, decision making, and their well being.

While obtaining her Master’s degree in Education, Training and Development, Raycenia conducted major research on the “Role of the Christian Church in Today’s Society” through dual graduate/executive programs at Bowie State and Johns Hopkins Universities (1999). She is a graduate of Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government Fellows Programs: Leading Change in the 21st Century and Leadership Educators (1998). Raycenia obtained her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from South Carolina State University (1981).
Prior to establishing the NewB® Leadership Center, Raycenia had a successful 20 career in acquiring and managing Information Technology contracts word-wide, as the Director of Contracts in the Department of the Navy.

Happily married since 1987, Raycenia and her husband, Samuel serve together in overseeing the NewB® Leadership Center.
