PatriceLIVE is a singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and philanthropist from the Washington, DC/ metropolitan area. A rising superstar and budding icon, PatriceLIVE has set the bar for new artists by combining the soul of R&B music, the appeal of pop music, and the fiery energy of a Rock ‘n’ Roll performance.

Her journey into the industry started at the age of five when she won local pageants and talent contests. She honed her craft during her adolescent years and was coached by her grandfather, a Grammy-nominated gospel singer. She performed with Richard Smallwood’s Children of the Gospel and was a student at the prestigious performing arts school, Germantown High School in Memphis, TN. At the age of 15, she penned C.H. Flowers High School’s school song, “A Mecca of Excellence,” which to date remains the school’s alma mater.

In an effort to strengthen her stage performance and learn to engage an audience successfully, she performed with several R&B and go-go bands on the DC circuit, performed as a backing vocalist for major artists, and joined a corporate agency band.

In 2015, she released her debut album Ghosts of Boyfriends Past through her record label, 1019 Entertainment Group. In November 2017, PatriceLIVE released her critically acclaimed sophomore album Wonder Woman with the gogo-infused lead single “Promise” and ladies’ anthem “Dope Gold.” To support both albums, she has opened for industry giants like Brandy, Teyana Taylor, Monica, Keke Wyatt, and Chrisette Michelle.

Outside of her personal music endeavors, PatriceLIVE is a well sought-after talent booking agent, creative director, songwriter, vocal producer, and music business educator. She is a member of the DC Grammy Chapter and has hosted and served as a guest speaker for several national music education and women-empowerment events. By day she is the Sr. Development & Marketing Manager for The Washington Chorus and is also CEO & Founder of the boutique marketing firm, Visionary Marketing Partners, LLC

In 2023 (as she simultaneously pursues her MBA) she will release a new EP entitled, Sequins, Suits & Sweatpants, launch a songwriting initiative with PG County Public Schools, relaunch a music-based educational series entitled “PassionWorks101” with co-host and bassist Candra Rutledge, author a book and produce other exciting creative projects.
